So I am looking in to replacing my current exhaust set up and going to a cat back system. I was hoping to dual out my exhaust using a Flowmaster system since I have greatly enjoyed my Delta 40. I was thinking of using this system here. The problem is that that is for an extended cab ranger only, however I have an extended bed so I was wondering if that would take up the excess that would be there if I only had a standard bed. If anyone can help me out that would be awesome as I've confused myself more than anything at this point haha!

Could, but don't know.

1998
Regular cab regular bed was 111.5" wheelbase
Regular cab long bed was 117.6"
Super cab short bed was 125.9"

Problem I see with "off the shelf" part like this one, that is not specific to your vehicle, is where the hump in the pipes are to go over the rear axle, you could be long in the back and also short in the front

Ahh, that's a good point I forgot about that. Well shit, I guess the problem I'm going to run in to is that most catback systems are either extended cab or standard bed then haha.

The long bed requires a different tailpipr than either a supercab or a short bed truck

The difference between a shortbed exhaust and a supercab exhaust is the length of the extension pipe between the catalyst and the muffler.

Ah, thank you. I was thinking it was a standard length other than the final run. So I guess I'll have to go get a quote from an actual muffler shop.
