seems like 2 cylinders are dead. no engine codes. i have changed the plugs, wires and coils already with out success. i was told that it could be a bad ecu. the truck ran fine when i parked it 4 years ago. went to start driving it again and it missed real bad. dumps raw fuel into the exhaust. any ideas.

thanks.

so your truck didnt run for 4 years?

What about the fuel that was in your tank & fuel lines? How old is it? My guess is it gummed up your injectors. I think you can have them cleaned but they need to be removed which is a PITA.

Hope you get this fixed soon.

Just curious but what caused you to not run the truck? Were you on military leave?

It got into an accident. Smashed the front end and bent the frame. It took that long for me to repair it my self on the weekends.

The truck ran fine before the accident. I parked it and only started it once. I assume the injectors are fine, because the dead cylinder is dumping raw fuel into the exhaust. when i pull the plugs, 2 are wet.

Thanks

I will check, I am not positive, but the wires almost only fit one way. plus I wouldn't think even if the firing order is off that there would be wet plugs, it would still fire. worth a check though. any help is appreciated.

thanks
