1998 and up front clip on a 93-97 without changing the core support :)

I've had the thought myself, so glad to see it done>>

Nice writeup & good pics..................keepem comin!!!:icon_thumby:

alright! So, maybe the mods will sticky this, maybe not. I know that it wasnt too tough, panels line up pretty damn good (not perfect, but for a DD/trail pig its perfect), and total, this swap cost me around 450 bucks. Not to mention that all parts are OEM Ford, not cheap flimsy, crap.

Hope this helps some of you guys!

impressive work. this should get stickied or submitted to the tech library.

if one of the mods wants to move it, more than welcome to

just posted this over in the Tech Library Submission threads. Hope it helps any of you guys thinking of doing this swap!

Good info! Def will be looking back on it when its time to mount my newer model glass fenders on my 94!

glass conversions are much more simple than this. Perry McNeil makes a GREAT conversion setup. Met the buy, and he is a really cool dude. Ended up taking his ex girlfriend's pink sport trac and turning it into a complete desert truck.

Do you still have the pics? Jw b/c it says the photo's have been deleted from photobucket.

Thanks josh. I'm workin on getting my replacement parts for this from a company called certifit. Total cost should be around 200-300 for the fenders powerdome hood and header panel with grill and lights.

Yea, i could have gotten my stuff cheaper, but I went with Factory Ford parts. All my stuff has the ford stamp, other than the grille. I didn't want the Tiawanese floppy metal. I used that crap once on my 2wd ranger, and we spent 10 hrs of labor getting the hood straight do to warpage and the metal being so thin. Just make sure the stuff is good. The poerdome hood should be fiberglass if i remember correct.
