1998 2.5l exhaust size question

I have looked all over the Web and can't find a definite answer on what size pipe is on my 1998 ranger. I haven't had a chance to crawl under it and measure but what is the exhaust pipe size right before the muffler? 2" or 2.25?

My 1991 has a 2" pipe all the way back from the Cat.
