I have belonged for a long time but it has been so long since I was on the site I thought I should introduce myself.

The truck is in great shape for its age, but I have a few questions I would like to get answered.
1. The grey fender trim around the wheel opening have suffered some and need re painted, is this possible?
2. The speedometer works on and off, almost always works at startup, but fails within 10 miles, any ideas?

thanks
Les

Welcome back.

welcome!

no idea from me either but i bet you can do the fender fix in the way you are talking about

A one-owner original -- awesome. I bought my 94 new as well.

Welcome to back.
Post some pics if you get a chance - especially of the area you want to repair - it could help with responses.

I thought I would send a picture
Thanks for looking
Les

Wow, you kept that truck very nice. It looks great!

They used to sell some stuff at Walmart in the auto section that you wipe on plastic trim and it turns it back to black. I had to use it on my jeeps. It is in a black plastic bottle with a flip top lid, and seems like one of those things you get off the TV at night. Anyways, it worked super and smelled like coconut sunscreen. I still have the bottle somewhere and will try and find it for a pic.

Thanks red rocket, I traveled every week after I bought and my wonderful wife took me to the airport every week so it spent a lot of its life in the garage. If you could see it up close it has a lot of dings, but does well at a 30'000 feet lol

superJ,
Mine were grey from the factory, I would just like the color code so I could spray them like new.
Thanks
Les

Welcome back to the gang!
