x2 the next cheapest ways to lift the front. explorer leafs in the back and you have yourself a cheap 2" all around.

you can get the spacers from fat bobs garage for about $30, you dont need to get the bolt extender kit with it. torsion bars were put on explores in 1995, rangers in '98. the spacers are pretty easy to install, but you have to realign the truck and get the caster/camber bushings to align the ball joint.(parts plus, autozone, for about $15)
