I have a 1997 automatic ford ranger and the wire in the gear shift indicator snapped. Finding a new one is proving difficult, does anyone know if a 3rd Gen gear shift indicator fit in my 2nd Gen truck? 2004 onwards is readily available, but nobody makes these old guys anymore.
