Woke up one Sunday and began to run my weekend errands.

Stopped 3-4 times before pulling over to grab some smokes on the way home at the gas station, when I hopped back in the truck and it wouldn't start! Stuck at the gas station I was, and was forced to tow it back to my house.

I did try a jump start (obviously not the issue), so I'm thinkin an electrical problem is eliminated. Also tried tapping the starter with a wrench a few times, no luck.

When I turn the key, all power is there (CD Deck, Gauges, light etc) but the engine doesn't crank or begin to turnover. AGAIN, all electrical has power. Checked all connections to the battery, no corrosion or anything.

Please anyone with any advice, drop a line

Thanks a ton,

Steve

Turn the engine by hand, if it moves, pop the starter off and get it checked. It probably just died.

If this happened on my 94, I would try jumping the fender mounted solenoid.

Could be the PATS system- does the theft light blink when you try to start?
