Hey, my ford ranger has the locking ring in tact but the clips that the ring locks into are completely rotted off and no longer hold the ring in place. I tried to use make a gasket to seal it down, the pump ended up lifting again. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to fix this? IMG_8268.jpeg

It's looking like you need a new tank...

Unobtainium... got it.

I bought a brand new made in Canada tank for my Bronco II on Amazon for $45.

Might be time to get creative and make fit one you can buy.

That one was a returned item that just happened to be available when I needed it.

I would look around for new tanks... I can't help but think you can still get one.

Try LMC... Bronco Graveyard... car parts .com...
