My credo
we got us
Okay, so I probably need to go back and say what all has happened so far.
We've replaced all the plugs, and wires. Someone unplugged the mafs and it took someone to not just recognize it but then find where it went. We replaced both coil packs. And after getting everything mixed up somehow we got the firing order right and the battery cables all straightened out.

But then we still were having issues. We weren't starting so after draining 2 batteries. And having 2000$-3000$ worth of tools stolen from us. The alternator was the next thing we replaced.

Truck was running after all that and no issues.

Recently, we got ran off the road and hit a tree at barely 10mph, bent the front bumper into the tire, bent the oil filter, bent the radiator. Someone stole our battery and the rest of our tools. That happened letting the truck sit overnight. SMH...

So now truck won't start. We got a battery, but wasn't charged. Used a buddy's battery and it started. We replaced the bent oil filter, and she's got plenty of fluids.

We got the battery charger and put the now charged used battery back in - no start. Replaced the alternator but only because 2 different things said the other one was bad. We then didn't get anything, no lights, no nothing.

Next we had someone say it jumped time or bad connection.

Okay...
Found where the connection was fucked up.

Fixed the connection issue.

Now we're back to it cranking but just won't fully kick over. It wants to - you can hear it. But just cranks. We tried jumping the solenoid, but that didn't work either.

Any ideas that we can look at next.

We're in the process of replacing the fuel filter.

Sorry about the extremely long post. But we've been thru some shit with our truck. And just trying to make sure all the info is there to get the best advice.

Take some ether and snort in the intake.

If it starts- Fuel issue
If it dont- Spark/Compression/Timing issue.

Start there and report back.

EDIT-

On second thought since it quit after smoking the tree check the intertia switch. It is meant to kill the fuel pump in the event of an accident.

Should be under the dash on the passenger side kinda up where the carpet ends on the firewall
