hi all and thanks for all the info i have found on this website.

I tried searching and cant find an answer to my problem

I recently brought a 1996 Ranger Extended cab thats a 4.0 auto with 218,000 miles on her clock. Had to get the tranny rebuilt has it was bad when I got it. Now my other issue is a cracked / broken leaf spring. Was wondering what year Explorer leaf springs would fit and then also if i use these shackels would she be rasied at all and if it is about how much she would be rasied. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Superior-Automotive-2-pcs-rear-lowering-shackle-kit/_/N-25n2?itemIdentifier=204654&_requestid=1279747&_requestid=1631018

Also what other options do I have for this broken leaf spring.

Thank you again in advance for all answers

Lou

all Explorer leaf's will fit...but, look for a 4 door ( generally a 3 leaf pack )...most 2 doors had the Mono-leaf....

yes those shackles will work....

other alternatives are Ranger springs and if ya into wheelin', search the 63" Chevy leaf mod....

when I combined the Ex leafs and those shackles I saw almost 4" of total lift....just so ya know...
