1996 Ranger 2.3, 4x4, seat belt question...

The female belt buckle for the driver's side on my truck is worn out and keeps releasing the male part unless I really slam it in really hard but after that it stays in, my truck has the factory bench seat and not bucket seats, I've been having a hard time locating a new one online and was wondering if anyone knows the Ford part number is for it?

There is a little spring clip inside the buckle that has broke. You might check local junkyards for a new buckle.

I have the same problem on my 96 XLT and I was able to find this part number Part Number: F57Z7861203D. I have called a few dealers in different states with no luck and no luck at the local salvage yards. Anyone have suggestions?
thanks
Gary

I swapped my drivers side with passenger side until I could find another one

Told the passenger to just "hold on tight", lol
Actually its a work truck mostly so passenger seat is rarely use for a human :)

FWIW I was able to purchase a new belt on EBAY. The seller was aerospacesurplusnett. Not sure if he has any more for sale.
