Hello, I Currently have Two rangers, One is the above mentioned Mazda with the TTB suspension, and I also have an 04 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 LvL II that was hit a few months ago, took out the whole driver side front wheel and suspention (upper and lower balljoints ect) and it tweaked the frame. I was wondering If the Frame frome the 96 will accept all the stuff from the 2004? I mean with in consideration, If i have to grind here and weld here that's fine.

Thank you
Zippo

I'm having a hard time deciphering what you are looking to accomplish. Are you trying to put the 2004 suspention into your 1996? Are you trying to swap the frame from your 1996 into your 2004? Either way, I don't think it will work without serious modifications. The TTB uses completely different mounting than the a-arm setup. It's probably doable, but you need to look at your frames and see what needs to be transferred, and what said transfer would entail.

What Im trying to do is take every thing from my 04 and swap it to the 96, But i know it wont swap, The frame is 1'' smaller on the 96. What years and models can I get a ''new'' frame off of? (Ranger, B-Series, Exploder ect...)

Thank you

I just put a 2000 cab (same as 2004) on my 1996 frame (with TTB). You could go that route....minor mods here and there but *mostly* bolt on

Is that what you are trying to accomplish essentially?

Or are you looing for another identical frame to swap to (so 1998+ style frame)?
