I know the brake pedal and clutch Pedal are together but one is inside the other You step on the clutch the brake lights come on. Makes driving a bit hard The booster Is making like air is coming out in the cab It sounds like a swoosh sound I know some factory-new cars have this But can't remember If this truck has it my 1991 ford ranger dose not do it. any help will be helpful Just checked The pedal alum Housing is new as of 2 years ago replaced Pedals are kinda stiff Should i just lube the Clutch rod going throw the Brake rod. Let me know

Brake pedal bushing is probably a little too tight on the clutch pedal shaft.

It worked 6 months ago fine could the brake booster Be bad and the rode that gose to the brake pedal might not be decompressing Making the Clutch pedal and brake pedal act as one

Your brakelights should NOT come on when you step on the clutch. And, I highly doubt that new vehicles would have that feature, for the simple reason that the brake lights would come on EVERY TIME YOU SHIFT GEARS (unless, of course, you have a really good ear, and really good timing, and can shift without stepping on the clutch).
