To much stress on the tie rod from the front locker and hopping the front end. The D30 is holding up fine for the abuse its taken.

You need a tie rod sleeve like the diesel guys run.

what ind of tie rod is that? if you made it, what size tubing, tre, heims? just dont want that to happen to me. i built my tie rod out of 1.25" chromoly .120 wall with 3/4 heims.

its just the stock steering linkage off of a jeep... i need to beef it up a little... lol i love the dana 30... ive been pretty hard on it and so far thats the only thing thats happend to the dana 30... already had to swap out the tranny blow the out put shaft on it and i think i hurt my t case the same day i bent the steering...
