So I picked up a 95 v6 4.0l that had been sitting in a field for several years. it was "FREE" for my son. He had to have it. Well all the parts and work to get it running are not "free" as he soon found out. New coil pack, plug wires, plugs, brakes, shoes, drums, rotors and pads, all new brake lines, new injectors, new starter new battery. It runs great now. However there are 2 issues, the thing is hard to start the first time in the day. The cold start is terrible. Also the windshield wiper motor will not run. New motor, new multifunction switch (fixed a blinker problem). I have checked the relays and fuses, I have checked that the relays are getting power, there is power to the connector at the motor, verified all the bolts were cleaned and made good ground contact. The grounding wire is connected to the firewall. I used a test light to test all of this. I am at a loss as to why this would happen. Anyone help me with this or what I should check next?
Thanks
