1995 2wd ate up an abs sensor. Are there two different lengths for different gear ratios?

I had my truck grind down an abs sensor(i haven't had it long) and the reluctor wheel looks like garbage. Are there two different ones for a high gear ration and low gear ratio or did the previous owner do something wrong?

The same axle housings are used for the different gear ratios. So, the sensor should be the same regardless of gear ratio. The PO either got the wrong part or did something wrong.

Agreed. The reluctant ring is the same size regardless of gear ratios. It is an independent piece that mounts between the ring gear and carrier.
