1994 STX Coils

I have a 1994 Ranger STX 4X4 125" wb. I need new stock height coils due to sagging. I have looked around on the internet and I cant find STOCK height springs for a STX.. There are XLT, splash... but not STX. This is a company truck and they do not want it lifted. Are the coils the same for all trucks with the same configuration or are STX coils different. For '94, they're the same coils on all trucks that are optioned the same.

Just look for coils that are for a Ranger with the same cab type, engine, trans, 4WD, and whether it has A/C or not (an XLT would probably be the most similar to your STX). If for some reason they end up a hair short (they shouldn't), you can always put a few washers under the lower spring seats to boost it up a little.

I called napa and got the springs. I checked out the great tech section and read up on the install. I started on the right side jacked it up removed the upper shock nut and coil nut . When i lowered the jack the spring almost fell out. There was nothing holding it at the top, and i noticed the bracket said R4x2 ???? The one on the left side said L4X4?? and had the bent tang holding the top of the spring in. The brackets apear to be the same other then the coil position up top and the right one is bolted on not rivited on like the left. It seems fine and the negative camber is gone.
