yeah.....some are d and some a square....some freak spline things.... lots of options.
the 94 down grand cher o car type should be what i pictured. you can go the the junkyard and get one for 5 bucks and play with it.
you can drill a hole in the shaft to put a bolt or cotter key in so it can't slip off the shaft...
or drill a hole through the center to match what ya took off....using both the pinch bolt and the center bolt for safety...
or hybridizing it with a ranger style upper joint from a later truck like on my bronco shaft at the colum side and the lower d section from the jeep on the steering box side so it its even easier...
