Hello my name is Kevin I got a 1994 Ford ranger I had a problem with the radiator hose dropping water out which caused the transmission to get hot and it’s leaking transmission fluid by the bell housing I need to know how I go about draining the radiator and what’s your thoughts on it leaking from the bell housing itself

Hello Kevin and welcome aboard Sir! Well the best answer is the one that gets the problem fixed no doubt. You may want to post a thread and question in the transmission section for another answer or two. I would question the exact type of fitting that is being used. Might be a common problem. Some cheap radiators that I have read about from Autozone came with the wrong type of transmission cooler connector, maybe someone swapped those over & now it;s incorrect back at the tranny, just a guess.

Question, what is the history of this truck, is it new to you? Or did it not always have this issue?
