Hello, I’ve had a plethora of rangers/series pickups.

I have a 1994 mazda b4000(4.0) ext cab rwd manual, non ac with a production date of 02/94

I am pulling a really good motor as a spare out of a 1994 ford ranger 4.0 ext cab with ac rwd with a production date of 11/94.

Now the issue is other than the ac stuff there’s differences in the engine layout any advise ?

Just swap out the long block. Use accessories, sensors, etc from the old motor.

That Mazda is a California emissions with EGR engine, the Ranger is a Federal version with no EGR.

To use the Ranger engine in your Mazda, use the Mazda:

-upper intake with all EGR components
-exhaust manifold with EGR fitting
-Mazda PCM and wire harness
