Heres the situation, I have a 1994 2.3l that i havent had running since i had it. The guy I bought it from said he replaced the timing belt and it ran for a day and just shut off. Now I cant get it to spark, I've had the coil pack tested and im not getting power to it but it works, ive had the ignition module tested and ive checked all the fuses and relays in the box. I had the crank shaft sensor out but I wasnt able to tell if it was good or not because I dont know how to test it. Need some help please.

wire between the coil and battery or check the alternater had a car that would have the plug fall out once in awhile

Do you hear relays clicking when you turn the key to "on"? If not, check ground of "ignition module" (I'm sure it goes by another name, but it's located just behind the a/c compressor and power steering pump) It's only grounded by a tiny screw in the lower left-hand corner of the unit (yes, the hardest one to get too!), but is a somewhat-common problem if the module has been removed and the screw wasn't put back in, or is not making good contact. I had this problem after replacing my timing belt and have since put an additional ground wire from that screw to the mounting bracket of the a/c compressor, as an added security...
