Is there a door that shuts the fresh air on the heat n a/c cuz no matter if it is off or ac max or any of them with the fan off it blows air down the highway....is there a way to plug the fresh air n wire the recirculate, door open. Found the recirculation door behind the glove box but can't find the controller for the fresh air vent. I've never used the fresh air on any of my cars just the recirculate, setting, because it'll either get hotter or colder ... instead of struggling to mess with outside air

The door behind the glove box is the inside/outside air door. It's controlled by the "max" lever. That is all you have. Many cars and trucks still have some fresh air flowing through at all times. This is a safety thing in case you have a exhaust leak. But on my older rangers and BII's, the door behind the glovebox usually stops most of the air coming in.

I didn't know if there was a door that plugged the fresh air when it was on recirculate/max or in the off position.... cuz I get air blowing threw the vents no matter if its off or on max... it switches fine from defrost to floor etc

Figured it out the vaccuum button on the selector was stuck that controls the door sprayed some lube on it and started working
