Okay so you have a 93 ranger with an automatic push button transfer case correct? and you have WARN manual locking hubs correct?
You are saying you cannot get it out of 4wd correct? Are you in 4wd Hi or 4wd Low? If stuck in 4Hi, with your truck turned on, in neutral with the brake pedal pressed, press your 4hi button. Then get out of your truck and turn the hubs to the unlock position.
If in 4low, with your truck turned on, in neutral with the brake pedal pressed, press your 4low button(which then puts the truck into 4hi), then hit the 4Hi button to put the truck into 2wd. Then get out of your truck and turn the hubs to the unlock position.
To make sure your transfer case is disengaged, you can crawl underneath your truck and turn the front drive shaft with your truck in Park or in 1st gear and off. If your driveshaft spins freely, you are in 2wd!
Does this make sense?
