1993 ranger 4.0 brake booster interchange?

The brake booster has kicked the bucket in my 1993 ford ranger. My truck has the 4.0 and 5 speed and is 4x4.
I am also parting out a 2005 ranger, so my question is... will the booster from that truck work? Both are the 4.0 and 5 speed if that matters... yes I know the difference between OHV and SOHC.
