1993 ranger 3.0 to 5.0 conversion

i know this may have been covered before but i cant seem to find anything. ive been searching the past 3 days. ive looked through the tech library and searched the forums.

I just recently debting on trading my 6" lifted 1988 ranger stx for a 93 ranger 4x4 ext cab lifted 6" suspension, 3" body, and on 35s. (hes giving me cash)it originally had a 3.0 5speed and auto transcase. Well thats been all pulled by previous owner. I recently also bought a 5.0 efi swap. the swap came from a 1995 f150 extended cab flare side with a broken frame. It includes engine, 5 speed trans, and manual transfer case. I got all the wiring from dash to radiator support. I already had these parts from a previous unfinished project: conversion engine mounts, headers, oil filter relocator, and exp radiator. My question is what to do about driveshafts, oil pan, trans crossmember, 3.0 fuel pumps and tank? ive dealt with 2.9s and 4.0s but never swapped out a 3.0 due to their differences. Any help will be greatly appreciated since the snow is flying here in ohio and my little honda doesnt do so well.

It is basically the same swap. It has been posted on this site a lot. If you are not sure enough about doing it yourself you will wind up messing it up or paying someone to swap it for you. And then...and only then if you want a V8 bad enough, pay somebody to do it for you. A god buddy who knows what he is doing will come in handy. There can be a lot of issues you can have if you don't understand what you are getting into with a trans swap, and all the electrical components you will need. There is a vast amount of info on Google about V8 swaps. Search for it.

thank you but that still didn't answer my questions. please don't refer to me as not knowing. ive done plenty of swaps but this is the first 4x4. first ranger. real info would be greatly appreciated as this truck needs on the road ASAP.
