Well,,,,, Let me start by saying Nothing has been easy on this 1993 truck until now: Heater Core Replacement fixed it.
Pull the two 5/8" coolant hoses off the heater core,,,, pull 5 plastic tabs off the heater box insulator cover under the dash on the passenger side,,,,, remove 4 - 8mm bolts from below the core access cover,, remove cover,,, walk around to the engine compartment and push the two aluminum 5/8" heater core tubes into the firewall and the core falls right out,,,, tape up the new core with provided foam,,, install core,,, install access cover and insulation cover,,,, flush motor/radiator,,, I pull top radiator hose at the radiator,,,, run water everywhere in both core hoses,,, top hose,,, radiator,,, drain,,,, connect all hoses,,,, fill,,,,, done.... Core cost me $25,,,,, in stock at advance auto parts.....
