Hello aIl,
Long time listener first time caller. I recently purchased a 1993 Ranger, 2wd, 3.0, 5 speed. The body and frame are in great condition. All the truck really needs are cab mounts and a radiator support. I am having trouble finding a radiator support for that year truck with the 3.0. Where could I find a support or could I use a 4.0 support? Also, would a support from a different year truck work? Thank You!

Core support should be the same I would imagine..

is there anything here you could try? not sure if you can search lmctruck or not. I can not get the search to work. maybe their site is going down with the rest of the online stores... :( hope this helps some how.

Yeah I checked with LMC. They don’t have supports for 93-94 and they don’t know when they’ll get back in stock.

I thought they were the same but everywhere I look has a separate part number for 93-94. I’m not sure if other years would work.

Thought radiator supports and body mounts were the same 93-97, was pretty sure that stuff followed body styles and not engine size. I never owned a third gen though. I know it doesn’t matter for first, second and fourth gen, but I do know third gen was a bit weird since the 89-92 dash got carried over to 93/94 before being updated

While working on my '97 today I realized why there is a difference... the radiator! If memory serves '93-4 used the older radiator mount setup that had the two posts at the bottom and two bolts with isolators at the top like the older ones where the later ones have two saddles about half way up then two bolts at the top.

So, if you got a new radiator you can use the newer style...

Keep in mind that sometimes having a different part number means there is a minor change that you can deal with- like an extra or missing hole. Someone here will know, unfortunately I don't
