Hi all my 93 ranger has no spark. I have replaced coil pack, ignation module, Ignition, spark plugs ,wires, cap and rotor. took long screw driver and checked for spark and no spark.I did have 12volts to coil o ya I al so replaced the ground from batt. and the posative wire as well. can any one help me out?

My 2.9 has a dist not coil packs..

93 was 3.0 or 4.0. Either way :wrongforum:

My guess is its likely the CPS if it has no signal from the CPS there will be no power coming out of the Coil.

Easy enough to test, just have your lil brother hold the wire while you turn it over:taunt:

Do they have a crank and/or cam sensor? If so check them there will be no spark without them working properly.

Hope this helps

Jeff

Are you positive that it's a 2.9? They stopped producing them in 1992. 2.9's shouldn't have coil packs either. Just cap/rotor. Did you only test the one plug? Maybe that one is bad, and you're having a timing issue.
