I have a 92 Ranger 4 cyl.
I could only put less than an eighth of a gal. of gas in and it would fill up the neck. It would take a while to go down.
I found the vapor canister and it has two hoses on it.A 3/8 and a 1/18. I pulled off the larger one and was able to pour a full can of gas in the tank.
I don't know if I need to replace the canister or the purge valve.
I was told the canister almost never has to be replaced.
I tried to find the purge valve and found the 3/8 line goes to the throttle body.
The 1/8 goes to the tank.
Is the purge valve going to be in between the canister and the tank somewhere?
Hoping there are people who have dealt with these problems before.
