I have a 1992 3.0L with a 5 speed that says f27a ua on the side. It is leaking from the split between the gear box and the tail shaft section at the cross member. I have taken it apart twice to fix the leak, once with black rtv, the second time with a home made gasket and rtv. It seems to be getting worse. It only leaks after it is driven, after it cools it stops. Does anyone know what could be causing this, i have read something about 3 rubber plugs, but I cant find anything for sure. Any help would be appreciated!

More than likely, it's actually leaking from the 3 rubber shift rail plugs in the back of the shifter housing and running down over the area you resealed.
