Can anyone tell me if a 91 split bench will drop into an 88 with no drilling?

Thanks

Should drop right in, but not sure about the drilling...the outside mounts should, hypothetically, be OK...but the inside mounts are a maybe...but drilling the floor and reinforcing the holes with some good washers (welding them in is recommended) and then using grade 8 bolts to secure them will do the trick...

I think, though, from what I've seen, most holes are pre-drilled and reinforced because if it was an option on that year of truck then it's just a matter of the seats being plunked in at the assembly line...have a look under the truck (so you don't have to remove the seats) for pre-drilled holes...just to make sure...

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I will investigate further. I can pull the seat out of a junk truck and movethe 91 to the 88. I'm trying to avoid doing so if i can get an answer.

Should go right in. The differences start comin in when ur talkin reg cab vs. extended cab.

all the holes should be in place from the factory, even if they didnt use the particular hole

You just need to swap tracks and it will go right in. I have 91 seats in my 87, just used the 87 tracks.

no problem! good luck too, doubt youll need it. haha
