Anyone know where the oil pressure sensor location is on the 1991 3.0?

It's not difficult to change if that is what you are doing. Make sure the hole in the block is open as sludge can get up there and affect the switch.

I have some recollection doing something from underneath, but I may be confusing that with the transducer on a 2.9L.

One the 3.0L we plumbed in a Tee and retained the original switch for the dash gauge and put a real pressure sensor on the other port of the tee.

Yeah I'm gonna be changing mine. It fips out sometimes. Truck runs great just that sensor is messin up. I know the ones they put in are a dummy switch but it bothers me when it reads wrong

Do not use teflon tape to seal threads. Use Permatex High Performance Thread Sealer.
