I have a 1991 2.3 ranger replaced plugs and wires, O2 sensor. is there a way to reset check engine light manually or do i have to take it some where to have someone reset light. I didnt have codes read so there still may be something wrong, but the things I ve done has truck running right. also is there a way to pull codes by instrument cluster lights, such as counting flashes or something like that. Thank you for your help

yep, you can check them with the flashes of the light, go HERE follow the image for the analog volt meter method just ignore the volt meter part then get yourself a piece of paper and pen, sit in the cab and turn the key on, it's pretty simple. When you're done it'll clear the codes. The other way to clear the codes is to disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes.

thank you I"ll try it tonight after work and let you know how it works out
