HELLO, THIS IS MY FIRST POSTING, BUT I KNOW I'M IN THE RIGHT PLACE. I HAVE A 1990 RANGER XLT W/ A 2.9, 5- SPEED W/ CRUISE & A TILT WHEEL THAT I RETIRED AT 396,000+MILES. MY QUESTION IS...WILL THAT COLUMN WORK IN MY 90 XLT, 2.3L 5-SPEED W/O CRUISE? I REALLY WANT THAT TILT WHEEL IN MY (NEW) TRUCK. THE ONLY REAL DIFFERENCE IS ONE TRUCK HAS CRUISE WHILE THE OTHER DOES NOT. ANY ASSISTANCE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
THANX, LOONASEA

It should bolt right in. You will just have cruise control buttons that don't work.

Yes, it should work just fine, and simply use the non-button steering wheel pad from the original column.

P.S.- welcome to TRS.

THANX, I'LL DO THAT, I WANT TO PULL THE WHEEL ANYWAY TO SEE I'F I CAN USE AN OLD STYLE CHROME STEERING WHEEL ON IT. I THINK IT WOULD LOOK PRETTY COOL. I PROBABLY WON'T BE ABLE TO, BUT IT SOUNDS GOOD.
