very new to truck mechanics.

I'm sure there's many ways , but how can I do a small simple cheap lift on my truck without ruining the engineering of the truck. :icon_welder:

I wanna get a small lift that's reasonably cheap BUT is done properly. If all i need is some bigger wheels im all for it.

the truck in this picture is what im going for.

A body lift is cheap easy and allows for larger tires.

Also if you don't want to do the body lift look into doing a washer lift on the front basically it will level the front of the truck also allowing for larger tires.

Be warned that the 2wds are very unforgiving when lifting even a little.

My 2wd is lifted up to 4x4 height, which seems to be what you are looking for, and the guy who did it didn't put drop brackets on the beams. I cannot get the camber in spec, or even close, and she likes to wander all over the road if you don't keep a close eye on it.

I would look for a real lift kit.

thats good to know,

maybe i will just get some slight bigger tires for the spare 15" inch american racing wheels i have in my garage

thanks for the advice

3 inch body lift

I am about to start tonight installing a 3 inch body lift and i plan on trying to take pictures during the process if your interested in seeing that proccess. But i have already got my truck on 15 inch rims and there 235 75 15 and went from 225 70 14 and that already made a huge difference.

run some 150 arms with the radius arm brackets slid back and use the adj 3 or 3 1/4 bushings... you should be able you nail the camber and tighten the caster
