My credo
Build it, Break it, Re-build it stronger.
Ok so a few months ago i bought a stock 1990 ford ranger xlt, I have been doing a shit ton of work to it replaced the whole ignition system, put a K&N air filter on it, but the main things so far are, a light bar with 3 halogen lights, 3 inch body light, four inch suspension lift, and brand new 15x8 inch rims and 31x10.50 tires, I am almost totally finished installing it all...it been a total nightmare at some parts, this is also my first ever time installing suspension parts. All i have left to do is extended the brake lines in the front and drop the sway bar down about one or two inches in the front then i can through my front wheels on and be done. Next I plan to take off the front bumper and make my own out of strong metal and diamond plat, and have a spot for a winch int he middle. I have nooooo pictures of what m,y ranger looked like when i bought it but i will post some pictures of the lift so far in a little bit.

Hurry and post them photos, Bro!!!!

do people not realize that we live by pics here....lol

More add ons coming soon!

P.S. excuse my spelling, it been a long week and I have had little sleep haha. Quick question with the brake lines, in the front, I know I have to extend them but can i cut the middle hose in half and add a piece of hose in between it, would that work... or am I crazy? The only lines I have found are ones from summit racing that are 115$

That sway bar doesn't look right. I hope you are either taking it out or installing drop brackets for the swaybar.

ohh yeah, the sway bar not even connected right now haha, I got to drop it like a couple inches other wise it will mess with my steering arms.

NO. Don't cut your brake hoses. Either relocate where they come out from the body or get longer lines.

yea, i bought longer brake lines, so soon i should be able to throw the front wheels on

Oh and just cut and extend your swaybar links, get some tubeing and put each end in the piece you cut to length! I did that for the links on my 6" lifted bronco2

I got everything finished, brake lines, light, a good bit of the interior, new seats, tires on, ect.... but my clutch went out, it was bound to happen, the clutch is 15 years old with 150 thousand miles on it. It lived a good life, but the truck runs flawless excluding that pictures soon.

Redid my headliner and put up some forest camo
