1990 5.0 swap thread (project Jenner)

Some things to consider when using a trickflow intake in a 89/91 ranger.

1. The fitting on the side of the intake hit the booster if using a traditional 3/8 barbed hose fitting,

2. The one inch intake spacer and stud kit leaves less than a half an inch in between the wiper motor and intake but you have to use those if using roller rockers and tall valve covers.

3. Sn95 fuel rail is too tight on the front of the intake and the distributor hits the cross over tube as well. You have to use a aftermarket fuel rail or maybe one from a fox body.

Sounds like a real percolator! And I mean almost literally reminded me of an old time high quality, high volume percolator. hahaha

Actually I re-listened to it, that thing sounds really mean
