1990 2.9 oil and temp gauges.


the oil level sensor is on the oil pan. That's why it never came on. That sensor is only for the pressure not the level.

I don't believe that the later dashed even had pressure gauges initially. I know 86 and 87 did but nothing after.
 
I took mine out (oil level sensor on pan)and welded the hole up to do away with it since all they do is leak anyway. It is not a pressure sensor by the way. It is a level sensor, but they don't work worth a damn. Do your self a favor and go get you a copper oil line to run from your oil press sensor to your gauge. The plastic ones leak after awhile and the copper one will not. They are about $12.00 at the parts stores.
