i have a 1990 ranger and i have just been given the opertunity to buy a totaled 1997 ranger 4x4 i was wondering if anyone knew if the suspension on these two trucks and interchangable ?

Is your '90 a 4x4? If so, I would see no problems. People commonly take the Dana35 front alxe from a '90+ Ranger and put it onto one that has a Dana28 like yours probably has.

but the 97 has the ifs dana 35 right? not the ttb dana 35...

Nope, the IFS started in '98. The '97 still had TTB.

so they are not interchangable or were you saying nope to the axle

He's saying no to IFS, yes to interchangable.

sorry guys, was thinking it was 97 it started ifs. i was thinking the one my other 8.8 came out of was a 97, but must have been a 98 model
