Wanted 1989 ranger body mounting hardware

If you want to go down to tractor supply, a 7/16 bolt fits the hole. They need to be fairly long. I just did a BII and I needed 5 inch long bolts for most of the mounts, a little longer for a couple in the rear. I used one of the poly mount kits. They make the ride a little bit more noisey. But it does handle the corners better.

yeah the more I try to find solutions the more tempting it is to buy the whole kit, probably will end up doing that

DON'T do it, the mounts are 12mm x 1.75 thread. A 7/16 coarse bolt will thread in but won't hold much.
When I got my truck the core support body mounts were completely missing, the stock underfloor mounts were in place with 7/16 bolts in them and there was a hockey puck with a hole in it and 18 flat washers on each side in the rear. The box was held in place by two 3/8 carriage bolts.

Not sure how your mounts are made. But mine use bolts and nuts. If you use 7/16 nuts on the 7/16 bolts, they will hold fine. 7/16 converts to 11.13mm. Pretty close to 12mm.

The factory mounts have the nuts built into the lower retainer. At least grade 5 7/16 bolts and nuts would be fine. Bolts from hardware stores aren't good enough.

The dark colored bolts at Tractor Supply are grade 5. The silver colored ones are only grade 2. You buy them by the pound there, the cheapest place I can find to buy bolts.

I don't know about bolt colors, grade 5 bolts will have 3 hash marks on the heads and grade 8 has 6. Grade 2 bolts are OK to hold your wooden deck together. If you're using washers on something that has to hold torque, you want SAE washers, not USS unless you test fit the USS washers and get some that fit right. A 1/4" USS washer will slide onto a 5/16 bolt.

Update: I just forked the money for new body bushings and mounting hardware from duff tuff, supposed to get here today so I'll let you guys know how it goes
