I have a 1989 Ford ranger xlt that has a 1993 Ford thunderbird 5.0L ho v8 engine in it which has 19lb injectors a cobra jet cam and gt40p heads and max flow headers with true dual exhaust and a 1996 Ford f150 5 speed manual transmission. As for the computer I'm using a 1993 mustang gt a9l with the moates quarterhorse binary editor. So my question if anyone has ever done or could possibly help me. Does anyone know how to set the maf curve for the computer to for that engine? Sorry new at this and have been building the truck for 4 years and this is the last major part for the truck

My engine and trans are very similar to yours but I'm using a MSPNP Gen2 ECU. Some of the best help has come from the Stangnet forums. I haven't looked for QH info. over there, but I'm sure some guys have it.

If I knew a be a conversion was going to be so complicated I wouldn't have ever dropped as much money on it that I already have and I still have tires and bumpers to get

Stick with it. One thing at a time. Eventually it will run. And you will be doing the happy dance!

Oh its running and with only one 02 sensor hooked into the computer since I didn't have the o2 harness I'm running both 02 sensors to the computer separately and sitll with it running rough it still smokes the tires without intentionally doing it

That's what I have done so far

you might try just running it off the A9L with the MAF and not use the QH until you figure it out. That's what I did and it worked just fine. I stil haven't figured out the MAF with the MegaSquirt and I'm just living with it in Speed Density mode.
