Failing is easy. Everyone can do it.
This truck has no end to all the nonsense.

Ok. I finally removed the aftermarket wiring harness that some idiot installed years and years and years ago when people actually stole these trucks. Yep...someone put a car alarm into this truck.

And when they pulled it out? All they did was pull the control module..and left the mess of wires in place.

I've cleaned up allllll the wires....However I made a booboo. Seems somewhere along the ways they tied into the door lock harness. Something was spliced into something....and when I carefully removed it? Now the locks are dead.

? for everyone: Does the fuse that controls the door locks control ANYTHING else?

? for a followup: Where does that wire itself enter the cab of the truck. I'll need to back probe and break out the test light/meter and trace the wire until I find either the break---or the bad splice.

Yes I've looked at the diagrams. That's how I got this far. Just need to go from point 'A' to point 'B' for the door lock switches. Kinda would like to know any special routing they used...

Thanks!!
