Hi folks I am new to the forums. I used the tech info rather extensively when I was acquiring parts for a planned 5.0 swap. I have decided to abandon the 5.0 swap. It just isn't fitting into my plans right now.

I wonder if any one could advise me as to engine choice.

I have a 1989 Ranger 4x4 with a 4.5" lift. It originally had a mitsu 5 spd manual and a 2.9. The transmission I have to use now is a C5. What I'd like to know is if anyone recommends going to a 3.0 over the 2.9 and how feasible/easy that is to do.

On another note I will have to find someone who wants to buy all my 5.0 stuff. Does anyone know what kind of luck I might have trying to sell it all as a kit?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Brandon
