1989 2.3 muffler help

I would like some info on what muffler to use on 89 Ranger with the 2.3 I don't what to spend alot. although I don't want it to be loud.

I've had good luck with my thrush turbo muffler on my 2.3L. Single 2" in, single 2" out. About $30 at any local auto parts store.

If you go aftermarket you may want to get a resonator also. It will keep it from sounding like a ricer.
