I have a 1993 cab and bed I am going to put on my 1989 4x4 frame. How much rewiring am I going to have to do to make it work?

Did you post this somewhere else? I remember replying to a post but not sure if it was you or someone else...
Anyway...the 93 would have either the 3.0 or 4.0 I would imagine...and the 89 could have had the 2.9, 3.0 or 4.0...maybe even the 2.3 but not sure when that stopped.
The 3.0 changed after 93 so the engine controls might work...just matching the dash display and things like radio, lighter, et al...
Same for the 4.0...although not sure about the 2.9 at all...

I don't recall the frame having any specific wiring.
I guess the better question would be what is different as in are you going to implement a transfer case and drive a front axle or use as a 2wd?
