I’ve successfully v8 swapped my 88. I’ve put about 4k miles on it so far and it runs great. Now I’m trying to fine tune everything and I’ve found myself stuck trying to get the 4WD to work. I have the electric push button system. My new transfer case I’m running with the motor swap is the bw44-06 electric shift. The electric shift motor from my previous bw1354 electric shift transfer case bolts on and plugs in to the original connector. Minus the green/ light blue wire magnetic sensor depicted in the photo. I’m assuming my issues have something to do with this sensor however I’m not sure. So I’m reaching out to the forum! Does anyone know how to get this set up to work? Do I need a different 4WD module under the dash? Do I need a different electric shift motor? Both? I’m trying to avoid cutting into my floor board and installing a manual shift lever.
