Hey folks, i haven't posted in a while, but now i'm working on a New to Me 1988 Ford Ranger 2.0, 2wd single cab truck. Truck is in great shape and runs terrific.

I want to do a carb kit on the carburetor, but when going to take it apart, there appears to be some kind of wiring with a plastic connector coming out of the back of the carburetor?? It doesn't appear to go anywhere. Does this have something to do with the electric choke?

It's too dark right now or i would post pictures... Can anybody tell me where this is supposed to go???

Yes, electric choke.
Many have been converted to manual choke, so it might not go anywhere.

The wire would go to a "black" plastic cap that will have a connector on it.
