Hello. I have a 1988 ford Ranger with the 2.0 5 speed manual. I wanted to try and ask for help here because I am having serious trouble with my E87E-9510-AA carb. I took it apart and cleaned it and upon re installation I couldn’t get it running again, so I tried my best to set the floats and was able to get it running but it would flood Itself right away and die. I took the carb in to get professionally rebuilt, but I am wondering how do I set the idle and this automatic choke I keep hearing about for these things? Can anybody show me a picture of what and where these are, I’m semi familiar with carbs but this thing is the most complicated carb I’ve ever seen, I appreciate any advice or help . Thanks.

Pictures of your carb would help.

Im going to piss in a dimmly lit room here....because i have zero experience with these carbs but...

Choke setting should be that black cap with 3 screws attaching it.

Idle speed should be fairly obvious...a screw somewhere around where the throttle linkage connects.
