does anyone know the stock gear ratio on a 1988 ford bronco 2? Thanks

Thanks Hahns.. you are a champ .. i found it and it says D7 and from that it says 4:10 gears. that is hard to beleive though because it does not feel like it has 4:10's .. perhaps i will get some 4:56's and put them in because i have 32x11.50x15 BFG mudders..

Again thanks bro

4.56 would be better for those tires for sure (you might even consider 4.88 if you have the auto trans on that year BII)

x2

the auto sucks alot of balls out of the 2.9, and 32's always make rangers feel a bit sluggish with stock gearing, if ur auto with 4.10's itll feel more like a manual and 3.73's power wise....

That, and the A4LD has a fair bit taller overdrive than the FM146.
